Second Opinions

Do you:

Want to buy or sell a home?

Before you sign on the dotted line, call us for a Infrared Home Inspection. We can locate potential problems that you can request the seller pay for before going to the table.

Want to save on your heating and cooling costs with a Home Energy Audit?

This is a I. R. Inspection (like above) with the added benefit of finding and repairing your vent leaks. Typical duct systems lose 25 – 40% of the heating and cooling energy put out by your heating & cooling system. Get this repaired and start saving money every month on your power bill.

Need water leak detection services?

If you suspect a leak or see signs of mold this could be a potential problem that could cost you in the long run.

Need a second opinion with Infrared Proof?

If your unsure weather a water emergency job was finished properly or need some tangible proof to take into court with you, we can be reached 24/7.

We can help!

We quickly identify problem areas that can’t be seen by the naked eye and eliminate older, more costly inspection techniques that require lots of labor and destructive probing.

Every inspection comes with a detailed report that includes photo documentation so you can see and analyze any problems immediately.

What Is Infrared Thermography?

Thermography is the use of an infrared imaging and measurement camera to “see” and “measure” thermal energy emitted from an object. Thermal, or infrared energy, is light that is not visible because its wavelength is too long to be detected by the human eye; its the part of the electromagnetic spectrum that we perceive as heat. Unlike visible light, in the infrared world everything with a temperature above absolute zero emits heat. Even very cold objects, like ice cubes, emit infrared. The higher the object’s temperature, the greater the IR radiation emitted. Infrared allows us to see what our eyes cannot. Infrared thermography cameras produce images of invisible infrared or “heat” radiation and provide precise non-contact temperature measurements.

Important!

Testimonials

Shortly after moving into our new home we started smelling what seemed to be mold. We hired a home inspector to find out what could be wrong. But he could not find any evidence of “any leaks”.

We then had an indoor air analysis performed to get to the bottom of this. High levels of mold were detected in the corner of our bedroom but that’s all that could be determined.

On the recommendation of our real estate agent we called Dry Solutions to find out what else could be done. 10 minutes after arriving at our home Rick found the problem and even provided a full color report of what was wrong. We used this report to fix the leak in our roof.

Everyone should have an infrared home inspection before you buy.

I called Dry Solutions to find the source of a leak in the shower stall. Rick confirmed that there was no leak and suggested sealing the grout to stop the darkening of the grout from moisture. This saved us thousands of dollars as we were going to rip up the slab in search of a non-existent leak.

Protect your future investment with a infrared inspection. I recommend it to all my clients who are considering buying a new home.
